Promised yourself some ‘me time this coming year? That you would learn a new skill, be more creative, get to know some new people in a fun, small group setting? Well, why not come and learn the wonderful heritage craft of stained glass.
I run 12 week courses, covering leaded lights, copper foiling, kiln fired painting on glass and mosaics. Next course starts 7th Janurary, so get in there quick! Spaces still available on the Tuesday evening 6.30 to 8.30pm Morning and Afternoon courses now fully booked. All tools provided, you provide your own materials, all suppliers and use of books will be shared with you. Beginners to intermediate, my classes are mixed ability allowing learning from each other and the sharing of ideas and a creative community. You can focus on one technique over a few terms, or have a play at all of them in one term, it’s entirely up to you!
My one day stained glass courses each cover one of the techniques described above. All held on my off grid smallholding and studio, in the rolling hills of Devon, near Exeter. Taught from my fully equipped stained glass studio, I provide all the tools, a wide choice of materials and knowledge for you to learn, be creative and share time with some other crafters. These one day courses are technique focused, in an intensive, informative day of learning practical techniques to create your very own work of art. Preferring you to bring along your own designs that we adapt into workable stained glass designs, creating a very unique to you, piece.

I am about to start my sixth term. So far I have produced some large stained glass screens to complete my porch and front door, each one better than the last.
