Spent a lovely day yesterday with Bizz from The Heritage crafts crew https://heritagecrafts.org.uk/ talking about the future of Stained glass and other traditional skills, especially those that are on ‘The Red List’ This is a list of all of the viable, endangered, critically endangered and extinct Heritage crafts.

Stained glass got added to the endangered list in May ’23 and as a community we need to come together to work out ways of making this beautiful craft of working with light, line and colour, become once again a viable craft in the modern time. Keeping skills alive and continuing to be passed down through the generations is hugely important so they are not lost.
