Did an in situe repair on these georgous 1930’s windows in Exmouth, Devon today. Through constant banging of the front door, the panel to the right has broken its solders and the lead had given way.
So replaced the broken lead with some lead cut away from the H came normally used in the creation of a leaded light panel. Vertical soldering is allways a challenge as gravity likes to win, but its now all secure and ready for years to come.
