Fixing this little beauty today, Out of an Antique cupboard. They don’t them like they used too! Fixing it for an Antiques store based just outside of Collompton town. This is one door of 2, will post some more pictures of it when its all back together. I haven’t seen the rest of the cupboard yet but apparently its beautiful with intricate carvings.
It will need, taking out of the door, first i’ll make a rubbing of the window to make sure i’m cutting the shapes of glass correctly. Carefully cutting the lead away that is broken. I then cut the glass to size, and then it all gets put back together in reverse. once the lead and glass is all in place, all the joins get soldered and then I will clean out any loose cement from the rest of the window, re cement, clean and polish.
